Portrait of Annette Grimaldi

Annette Grimaldi's main mission is helping clients separate diet myth from reality, making sense of nutritional misinformation and assisting them to reach their health goals. This was not her first career (that was Business Administration) but she came by her calling honestly, raised in Central Pennsylvania where her family grew every type of vegetable possible and had many fruit trees. That environment gave her a continuing scientific curiosity about how what we eat impacts our health and how different kinds of foods affect our body inevitably led to her career change.

She received her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from Penn State in 1991, following her internship at York Hospital, York, PA. She is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as a Nutritionist and credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

After working for many years as a Clinical Dietitian in hospitals and outpatient clinics counseling people suffering from many different chronic disease states (most notably diabetes, obesity, and end stage renal disease), she decided to turn her focus to those who are interested in preventing chronic diseases by getting back to the basics of good eating.
